Finally got to fish

[Double Haul]

I finally got a chance to get out for an evening float. The fish were hitting big topwaters. I managed to catch 9.
This was the biggest and was 21 inches long and weighed 4 and some change.




I also caught this 3 pounder.


I lost one that was atleast as big as the first photo and had a 5 pounder hit my swimbait and miss as I lifted it out of the water for another cast. It sure was great to be out on the water.

Nice... I haven't been on the water in weeks and I am having withdrawals. That topwater bite is sooooo fun.

Glad you got go Robert. I haven't been yak fishing in a long time, but I have been on the lower Flint the past three Saturdays with a friend in his tunnel hull boat. Caught LM better the first week...about equal week 2, & caught a BUNCH of shoalies this past Sat. Hope ya get to go again SOON!
