    Default Can I mooch your Ultimate 12

    I am thinking about buying one. I have heard so many good things about them but I want to try one out for a day trip first and the dealers are too far away. The big thing for me is to try out one with the newer seat as I have back problems. Be glad to trade one of my boats if you want to go fishing. I am in south Charlotte and fish the moving parts of the Catawba regularly. Thanks in advance. Doug

    I can get one from Get:Outdoors but it will have to be after this weekend...doing some swamp paddling on the Black. AND you may want to wait for a few weeks. Their new boat will be revealed at the OutdoorRetailer show the first of August. It will be a great new addition to their lineup. The 12' version comes out next month and the 14 footer will be ready later this fall. I would also suggest trying one of their Deluxe Wedge seats found in their other sit-on-tops like the Manta Ray series...it can also be ordered in the Redfish.I like that seat better than the First Class seat. I have a 14' Manta Ray you can try and can get a 12' if you are interested.

    Thanks guys.

    RiverDawg, with our track record on getting together for a float those boats could be in bad shape before i get in them. Let's try to remedy that situation.

    Boykinsbuddy, I considered GO but it is a logistics thing. Too far away and not enough time. That's why I posted here, thinking I might find one locally. Thanks for the info.
    You didn't say where you are located but i'm guessing GSO area. I am up in Winston pretty regularly so I'd be interested in getting together. I have a Tarpon 120 and would like to see how the MR compares. Not apples to apples as I don't have the newer seat in mine. Right now my next trip to W-S is August, 3-8 i think.

    I live in Locust...we can go fish Badin or Tuckertown. I'm a writer/moderator for G:O so I can get any of their boats anytime. I have a pair of Magic 14.5s, a MR 14, and a Marvel 14 Tandem down here.
