    Default Creek Fishing

Hit this particular creek for the first time Sunday morning. It's a small creek that feeds the Etowah river. It was a solo mission so I had to paddle up and fish down. Fish came on a Zoom Ultra-Vibe Speed Craw, Trick Worm, and Jig. All bass were about the same size, butI do think this creek has potential fr some good bass.

Nice and welcome from a fellow Cartersvillian (is that right?).

    I love the smaller creeks.

Quick question though, how are you rigging your speed craw? I have rigged mine texas style and on slider heads but i was curious how everyone else does it.

    Thanks

I've been texas rigging mine. The action of that little bait is awsome. I may try it on a slider head this weekend and let you know how I like it.

Nice report. I used to love catching the redeyes when I lived in Dalton. No redeyes up here in Western North Carolina so I might have to make a point to bring the kayak and do some fishing next time I come back to GA to visit the parents.

Try 'em on a Spot Remover shakey head, too. Speed Craws & Super Speed Craws are AWESOME biats. They can be Tx. Rigged & fished on the bottom or swim them; Carolina Rigged (on bigger lake); flipped & pitched; swam on top like a Horny Toad; fished on a shakey head; fished on a drop shot rig; split shot rigged; used as a trailer on a jig (swim jig, flippin' jig, football jig) or chatterbait, etc. ; & more. Great bait for multiple uses which is great for kayak fishing. I even cleaned several other baits out of my bass boat to cut down on weight because this one bait can do so much. How do you fish them on the Slider Head? Are you swimming them? I am ALWAYS looking for new ways to fish most any bait!
