    Default WildCat Crossing 6-5-2012

Sorry if some of these pictures resemble last years pictures when I visited this spot, just to nice to pass up. The wind today was to forecasted to be in the 25 mph range and I was to lazy to drive down to the river and arrange a shuttle ect.... So I drove out past winslow and into the desert and got below ground and hoped the wind would blow over and not in the canyon. Work out to some degree and had a great day fishing. I got a bunch of dinks and about the time I started thinking I would never return I caught a really nice largemouth that wrapped my pole around my boat and made the day.

Tried one of these and in the right circumstance it would probally catch fish. Looks great in the water.

Massive log jam or floating island. Tried walking it and fishing some of the holes. A bit scary on my own

That just looks like a cool place to fish. Piggy LM to boot!

    I enjoyed that.
    Thanks.

It is a pretty cool spot and now that I "think" I have it figured out a little bit better I'll probably return again. I'll start by either arriving earlier or wait til sun set. I am prone to mid day fishing thru the heat of the day. I'll probably spend most of my time casting into the cracks and corners in the cliff faces.
