I tie and fish a lot of blockheads. I tie them on a size 4 mustad kink shank popper hook to keep them from spinning on the hook shank. A size 4 works great for smallies but a size 2 might be better for largemouth.

Nice! I tie mine on a 1/0 Mustad Signature Series Hook...Works well for smallmouth.

Do you guys cut your own and if so how do you cut them?

I sand mine into shape on a disc sander (see below)...cut foam into a cube, sand to size, taper the back, taper the sides...done.

Be very careful brother it's an addiction and you will be sneaking out with that credit card more than once. LOL
