one of the first trips of the year with one of my buds. caught a good bit of fish in some tough conditions...cold and muddy.

he's 6"4', 220 so that fish was a lot bigger when i held it


this sucker couldn't buy a meal!




here's a pic of a fish on a different day...LM that went over 3lbs. caught it in 30-40 mph wind on a spinnerbait. slipped off to a nearby lake right after work and right before a baseball game. this was a special catch cause this lake is notorious for skunks and dinks so a 3lber on the first cast was pretty sweet. beautiful markings on this one, too.

although that thing was skinny as a rail, it fought like a beast!

he's really a softie but i reckon he tries to look tough since he's a fireman.
