Default Fish Storage in the Coosa ideas?

What do you guys use? Not a fan of stringers. I am going to have a crate behind me so I am guessing the best idea is to get a large cooler bag from the dollar store and just keep it under my seat somehow?

I have a California Innovations bag that I put in the front hatch. You can get them from Sam's for cheap. It holds 5 reds and some trout easy. It will puncture though, so be warned.

I use an Igloo 25Qt Cooler that fits perfectly in the tank well.

What do you have in your crate that you can't put under your seat? Also, if I ever have my seat in the low position I can stack my tackle boxes between the seat and the cooler and they are pretty secure.

I got a crate and am going to get a cratepak. I can get a soft shell cooler and put between my crate and seat.

In warm water I can crawl up there. In cold water, I straddle the boat and scoot.

Not that hard, but I'm like a ninja - nimble and well balanced.

Until someone throws a rod on your seat ehh? :P

I don't know about yours but opening the bow and stern hatches on the Coosa is a PITA when off the water and I can't even imagine how it is possible on the water.

it's true - a real balancing act to open that front hatch while out on the water. Typically I will place my knees on the gunnels up around where I keep my foot pegs, then walk the hands forward until I can get the bungee off the front hatch. I cut a 10" piece out of the front bungee hatch so that it will only stretch to one side (versus both L & R) so getting it open w/ one hand is now much easier...

This bag fits perfectly under front hatch of coosa and does not slide past foam supports. http://www.shopgetoutdoors.com/index...sh-bag-md.html. Insulated and keeps ice most of day. Its normally marketed as a Native Watercraft accessory. I have the medium size. A large is available but not sure how it would fit under in the front hatch. I don't use to keep fish, but as general storage compartment or with cold drinks.

i probably wouldn't do that if you catch a striper...scales and fins like razors...could lose something...or a catfish...a sunfish would really suck...crappie may be be alright...they're kinda soft
