    I am from East Tennessee, i just purchased a new Coosa,havent had it out yet. Looking for some recommendations on a paddle. The lenght and whether i need a straight shaft or curved shaft .

    Welcome to the site IMO a 240 straight shaft is perfect.. You'll have good clearance when you paddle and plenty long to stand and paddle...

    I have a manta ray hybrid 240 straight, and really like it with my coosa.

    I am using a 230 werner tybee. I am a high angle paddler and generally like shorter paddles (they are lighter and stronger). If I was only using in the low position I would go with a 210 or 215 cm paddle. Straight shaft for me.
