Josh and I decided to brave the cold and head out to the river on the final day of OKtoberfest, 2011.

Great to see you out on the water again these past few weeks...with some nice fish to boot!

You gonna be out there at all in December? I am hoping to plan a trip or two while I am home - depending on conditions.

Hey yakdevil... Right now, I am at the mercy and kindness of my fishing buddies with rigs who have offered me trips. They understand that w/o their help, I would still be stuck at home just "hoping" I would be fishing rather than actually doing it.

As time goes on, I am praying for more recovery. I am still in pretty rough shape and walk with assistance... either a cane, crutches, or a walker. I am in no way in any shape to take my own jet rig back out on the river.

There are a few accessories that I will need to add before heading back out... support railings, bow steps, etc. These will make my trips a lot more safer than now.
