Has anybody been on the new this week. I was thinking about taking dad tomorrow

I was last weekend. It was average summer levels with decent water clarity (I guess 4-5 ft) and water was very warm. The bite was on like donkey kong from 5-8, and then died. People were cathcing fish with live bait in the late morning and afternoon but it was hard to trick them to bite on my artificials. I ended up with over 50+. Biggest was 17", and most 10"-12". Fish Slow. Tight Lines.

I was there a couple weeks ago..We caught a lot of smallies 10-12" on tubes, senkos, and grubs. I caught one 20" on a sammy the last morning there. I caught some on buzzbait first morning, kind of regret not throwing my topwater more. If you want quantity I'd go with the tubes we were catching fish pretty much every cast. Good Luck to ya!
