    Default Cahaba river largemouth

Been fishing a great stretch of the cahaba for the last few days. Caught the longest largemouth bass I've ever caught, and noticed he had quite a few scars on him(would post pic but new to site and dont know how yet, if someone could instruct me ill post it) It had chunks missing out of 2 fins, and 3-4 scars on body. Caught another big largemouth the day before with scars. Has anyone else noticed this in cahaba river bass, and if so theories? My guess is gar fish, but know there are several possibilities.

I don't fish the Cahaba but do notice sometimes that a big largemouth or bass in general will have scars or look beat up. The life of a big ole bass just isn't easy I guess. I think it's just scars from surviving predatory attacks by birds or other fish.
