I will be in the Boone, NC area later this week into next week and want to do some smallmouth fishing. I will be staying in Valle Crucis right on the Watauga but it looks like that is trout water mostly down that far. So I am looking to possibly fish the New River, Watauga farther north or wherever you take me.

I won't have my yak with me since this is a trip to visit the in-laws that are staying there and looking for a house. They will be retiring in that area

Wading or floating if you have any extra kayak is fine with me. Just want to do some fishin'!

I live near the Susquehanna River in PA and would be happy to host you as well if you ever come up this way. I have 3 kayaks including a Coosa you can use LOL.
