Crooked Creek trip coming up!! Need some advice!!

Hey guys,

Just made plans to hit up Crooked Creek on the 22nd-24th of this month and I am looking for any helpful advice in order for this trip to go as smoothe and as safe as possible. We are planning on staying two nights on the river and are currently in the process of finding a safe put in and take out spot for this length of trip but would like to hear from someone who has made this float before. Any helpful information would be appreciated!!

Well sounds like Crooked Creek might be a no go if not floatable......Eleven point might be the destination now!!

yeah, check the usgs streamgauges for historical data, such as the cfs chart.
If the water is below the triangles, its wading time.

yeah i hear ya.....we have decided to hit up the Eleven point river this up coming weekend...pretty pumped...however I would like to know if putting in at Myrtle access in MO and floating down to the hwy 93 bridge would be a good two night float with heavy fishing or would it be better to float on down to the hwy 90 bridge....any info would be appreciated.

We don't have many folks on here from that area just yet, but when I planned my last Arkansas float, I went to the Ozarkanglers.com forum. Lots of people on there willing to spill the beans on every float imagineable.
