    Default 4-30-11 creekin

Today I was finally able to get to the falls on this little creek we found 2 weeks ago. I dont really know the fishing pressure this creeks gets yet, but the shoal bass act like they never seen a lure before. None of the fish were big excepth a largemouth I happen to coax out a little hole with a 1/0 hook a bubblegum trick worm. I was good to find a place to get out and wade fish somewhere closer to home tho. Thanks Lowhybred09 for the tips on using the crankstyle baits in the shaols because they produced. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the day!

That looks like a fun little creek to fish Scott. We'll have to fish it sometime when I come to town to see my folks.

Well how does it feel to be in the 119 club ? How about that seat set up ?

This boat is about 5 times better than the 12ft fiberglass canoe. For one is the weight reduction and it slids over rocks instead of sticking to them. The seat held up pretty good, when I first put in the seat took some getting used to because it was the highest seat I have ever been in. But after an hr of fishing I really liked the height and gonna keep it there now.
