Lower Flint
Hit the lower flint today.....weather was awesome. Water temps up to 50 degrees...water color perfect. Managed 3 bites all good fish...only boated one.

It was tough out there todaybut the weather was sure nice.
Nice ST, at least the one you hooked up with was a quality fish. I'm envious and hoping Paxatoni (sp) Phil gets it right and we move on into spring sooner than later.
Good looking shoalie. We had a lot colder water up here today, low 40's.

Hey Tide, I have a chocolate lab named "Jake" that accompanies me on some excursions. He's good for those days when I want some peace and quiet. Only problem is I can tell he's really thinking about some smart remark when I miss fish. By the way, did you happen to see the tag number on that fish? I really hope we see some of those we inserted transmitters in, show back up this year.

My "Jake" luvs fishing....been on the water with me since he was a pup, & he is 11 years old, this year. He likes to lick the fish...bigger the better....his sign of approval I guess! I have been watching #1 closely...no activity yet...but the bites I got Saturday were all classic staging areas. Cant wait to get out with yall again this year.
Thanks man. I hope to get out in about two weeks and get another slug of tags out. I'm ready for some warm weather, brrrr.
