    Default Nashville ????

This is a total shot in the dark but thought I would try anyway. I will be heading to Nashville on Thursday for the National Amateur Baseball Convention and was wondering if anybody in the area was up for a little fishing while I am there. My best day to go would be Thursday around noon to the evening as we don't have and meeting or sessions until Friday. If somebody has the time to go I will throw a few poles in the truck, some warm clothes and my waders.

Well if I had a kayak I'd be glad to get out with you; you might PM MidTNKayakAngler. He has been getting out allot this winter and might be able to get up with you.

    Coach,

Thursday between 4p - 11p would be ok for me. I haven't been fishing for the black bass species in several months, the linesides have got me hooked. Last trip out was Sunday, it was cold fished from 4:30p-10p temps got down to 22deg. Had a solid sheet of ice over the entire kayak, guides were freezing solid after 5 casts, you had to dip your rod in the water for 30 sec or so just to cast. 1 fish almost 40", 1 blow up from another big fish, and 1 hooked and couldn't get him turned. Caught several bait fish, lost feeling in fingers, and toes. If that sounds fun send me a PM. I've got an extra kayak (Sit-On-Top), and paddle, all you need is a light (headlamp, and light with a pole), PFD, waders preferred, 1 big bass rod, and 1 lite or ultra lite rod, and WARM clothes.
It's only supposed to get down to 29deg so it should be pretty nice out there.
