2011 Goals

Now that 2010 is coming to an end it's time to start thinking about 2011. Does anyone have any goals for 2011 that you didn't get to tackle in 2010? Or something you've always wanted to do and plan on doing it this next year? Or something you have done already and plan on doing more of it in 2011? How bout sharing those goals with the rest of us.

Here are mine:
Continue to learn
Film more
Catch a 5lb shoalie
Catch a 4lb smallie
Fish salt at least two times
Catch a bass from AL, GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, VA and KY
Go on 1 date

Learn to fish more/paddle less
Eventually get a Coosa
Fish some of the trail tourneys
Fish with Paw Paw/Bruiser/Drew/WaderJon
Get someone to convert from bass boats to kayaks
Attend a couple of rodeos
Go on 1 date...if my wife will let me LMAO

My goal is to gave fun, loose, and break less gear. That last one Bruiser is a good one, sounds like you had a dry spell there.

Catch a 4lb+ shoalie
Beat my personal best catch 5lbs 5oz
See how many different rivers, creeks, and streams we can fish in a year
Catch more bass than this year
Create my own lures and catch a bass on it
Go to at least one rodeo
Be the first female to win a riverbssin tournament
Get a Coosa
Do a 3 to 4 day camping floating trip

That's just a short list because there is so much I can and will learn in 2011

Goals for 2011

- Get a Kayak - check... one goal down
- catch a 20+ smallmouth
- have fun and meet some new people at rodeos
- camp with the family as much as possible
- get a Coosa and pass the first yak down to my kids

I have caught several largies over 8lbs and one over10lbs soI guess ive been there done that lol. I have had a lot of life changing things happen to me in the past year and its taught me what is really important. My family , my friends, and fishing, in that order.My goals for 2010 include
( spend more time fishing with my family.
( hone my sons fishing skills.
(work more.
(complain less.
(catch a river spot over 5lbs
( catch a monster striper out of the yak.
( i want to really just enjoy what God has Blessed me with.

Rodeo or two
With some video/pictures
Enjoy new fellowship

Catch, "the one that got away."
Also want a Coosa(what respectable kayak angler doesn't?)
Land a 5lb+ shoal bass
Get my Father in a yak
Get my 12 year old daughter in a yak
Watch Smiley beat her personal best

• Get the GF and her son PB Bass
• Try some new stretches of the Brazos and Llano Rivers
• Make a trip back to GA to see the parents (and sneak a trip on the Ocmulgee for Shoalies)
• Practice more patience with vertical presentations and finesse rigs

1..Fish as much as I can with my fishing partner 'Ocmulgee Adam"
2..Enter 5 tournaments
3..Catch a Tarpon from my Coosa
4..Catch a 5# Shoalie
5..Get many new people into this sport. I have my nephews , bro in law and sister lined up
6..Get my Fly Rod wet and catch a Shoalie on it
7..Helping people out customizing their yaks
8..Continue to study and learn topography and reading the water
9..Wade this spring at Juliette Spillway with 50 crickets, like I did as a kid.
10..Hang on to the sweetest girlfriend in the world who is also one of my river camping buddies.
