so whats going on with the fishing

just wanted to see if everybodys caughting fish because im not been all weekend and never caught a fish

I went today for several hours and didn't catch any. I think the really low water levels for such a long period has a lot to do with it. We have several days " finally" this week with the chance of rain , hopefully we get it and it helps.

I think Im pretty much going to switch into "Get caught up with all the crap I put off all spring, summer, and fall to go fishing" mode! I hate this time of year, so fruitless!

Yep the fat lady has sung and the bird of paridise has crapped on my river adventures for another year. But fear not next year is just around the corner and I'm filing my hooks and making my lures as we speak.

Well you guys are saying what I've been thinking for the last week; once daylight savings hits I just start thinking about next year and stocking up/organizing tackle. It is a sad thing. If UGA would've beaten UF it would have been allot easier to deal with

Now it's time for NCAA basketball and watching the Wildcats this year. It's one of the main things that helps me survive winter.

Absolutely. Just finally found a job so I will have the funds to make more of the riverbassin functions.

I have to look and see where are some good spots for smallies. do know down near pickwick has some smallies off the main channel, have not been to see yet.
