    Default Gauley tributary

    Me and my fishing buddy DM have made 3 trips in the last week to a tributary of the Gauley River and the smallmouth bite has been fantastic with 60+ fish caught each trip. I have caught my biggest fish on a spinnerbait or crankbait but most have been caught on a 3" grub. Although most bass have been small I have caught some in the 15" range which still isn't a big bass but considering how the year has gone I'm just glad to be catching some fish.

    Wow, those are great numbers go and even a 10 or 12 inch smallie will PULLLLLL so they are always fun!
