RB State Rep
RIVER BASSIN FLOOD
There ain't no place like Nebraska
This is my homestate, so if anybody wants any information as to what this state has to offer, or if you're planning a trip, I can answer some questions.
While most of Nebraska is a prarie state which results in very shallow sandy swift rivers not ideal for bass fishing, there are a few decent trout streams available, and one outstanding fishery for everything imaginable, that's the Missouri River.
You name it the Missouri has it...
Smallmouth
Largemouth
Northern Pike
Muskie
Walleye/Sauger
Yellow Perch
Crappie
White Bass
Sturgeon
Catfish
and much more
If you want to plan a trip and need access points and more info on the best sections of the Missouri, I can help. Note.. this is a HUGE braided river with a lot of other boat traffic, but there would be unlimited secluded fishing spots with a kayak. It becomes channelized below Sioux City and fishing potential rapidly deteriorates the further downstream from Sioux City you go.
Nebraska Rodeo anyone? Maybe someday, even a few years from now?
