PawPaw, I am a big baseball fan as you were back then and I remember this well. The following years in '77 & '78 I was playing college baseball in Ft. Pierce Fl. just down the road from Vero Beach where the Dodgers have spring training and got to go there quite often and was able to get Rick Mondays autograph and actually told him thanks for that.
A lot of people on this site were young or not even born then but it was a powerful event.
