I must say, that is pretty awesome.
I imagine the small hatch up front is going to discourage some people. If it is the same size as the rear hatch then I know that it will be difficult to fit anything in there.
Groovy

Put a couple of good sized stainless steel washers on the inside of the yak and that thing will hold plenty strong enough. Don't forget though to put about 12-18" of shock cord in your anchor trolley...
People have been replacing the front and rear handles with regular old handles for months now. Many of them, like yourself just prefer the feel of the regular style handle, I don't really care since...
Howdy y'all, I'm coming to the Bryson area the first week of July for holiday with my Dad and my wife's parents. What can you tell me about the fishing in that neck of the woods? I looked at a couple...
The "review" seems more like an advertisement of this years new yaks.
You will probably have much better success finding the 10-24 bolts than you did looking for the 10-32 bolts. I also got my hardware at ACE.
McMaster.com should have the bolts you need.
If you are asking because of the threads near the seat on the Coosa then they are actually 10-24 threads and I corrected that in my other post.
Big Lots has been selling the knock off version of the leash for 10 bucks. Doesnt mean they have them where you live but if they do get the smaller one of the two they sell.
LOL, only 4 or 5?
To answer the OP, you probably don't need to add anything else to the yak other than maybe one more forward rod holder to set your rod in when you have a line in the water. ...
LOL "How to shoot better fish porn"
:p
Groovy man, congrats!
I haven't read anyone with the same issue yet but there are other options for foot braces that you can purchase and install.
Until someone throws a rod on your seat ehh? :P
I don't know about yours but opening the bow and stern hatches on the Coosa is a PITA when off the water and I can't even imagine how it is...
I use an Igloo 25Qt Cooler that fits perfectly in the tank well.

What do you have in your crate that you can't put under your...
Pretty sweet, even a speckled trout in one of the pics.
I think I saw a couple pics of you on there too right?
How do you present a lure that big without the splash scaring off every fish within 100 yrds?
I want to see the fish that takes that thing though. :P
Good, I'm glad it was easy to find the leak and it sounds like it is just as easy to fix.
LOL, I typed fish instead of fix.
When you say you got a leak on the front hatch you are talking about the rubber hatch way up front right? How is it leaking specifically? Don't assume I am pointing the finger at you but those...
LMFAO, Nice!
Just a little past story about the stake out pole in the scupper idea.
When I first got my Coosa went fishing with a buddy and brought my stake out pole. This was before I installed my anchor...
You can paddle quite well without the rudder and it will go straight and will actually track pretty well in the wind. The real benefit of the rudder comes in to play when you are trying to FISH...
It is just high density polyethylene foam. I bought a block of it that is used for bow and arrow target practice and cut the ovals to fit. I actually drilled holes in diagonally from front to back so...
I mounted my rod holder right in the center behind the day hatch so I can actually reach it while standing or sitting. The ovals out front of the foot braces were just too far forward for me but I...
I'm pretty sure they are 1/4-20. It was a long time ago that I took them out but that is what I remember.
The ones under the seat are 10-24. Fixed.
