Any home improvement store such as Home Depot or Walmart will sell those locks. Also, you can get a long cable lock so you can lock your boat up to a tree while you are gone. Run the cable through a...
You might have to re-drill the lock hole if it is slightly off centered with the metal loop underneath. I've used regular masterlocks to smaller suitcase locks with no problems.
I'm glad everyone was OK. That could have very easily turned out to very bad for everyone. A good reason to be thankful that both you and her are OK.
