Easily 30 lbs. Nice fish!!!
I gotta ask...why doesn't anyone but me just mount their transducers "through hull"??? All I do is stick it on the inside of the yak in a bed of 'GOOP'.
Very nice!
I use a 3 foot long piece of 3/8" logging chain doubled over.
I have a orange/white Coosa for sale. Will post pics this weekend.
That girl will reach out and touch somebody! I have a couple in the cabinet. This a good deal on a great rifle!
Dead on Lance.
Excellent tip Rob. I do the same thing of use a small piece of surgical tubing (1/8" I think) slipped over the main hook after the trailer.
Snakes don't bother me guys. I have quite a few as pets when I was a kid. All non poisonous except for the one rattler. Believe it or not the racers, rat snakes, etc were always far more aggressive...
I've been bit by a timber rattler once and a moccasin twice. All three were my fault. The rattler was a pet that I kept as a kid and I got lazy about keeping his fangs pulled. Both moccasin bites...
I agree with your technique on the double-uni, OE. Also, you should only make three wraps on each side.
I use the double-uni on up to 20# leaders with no issues. Anything larger, I use the...
The anal fin still throws me, but like I said the body shape does look to be striper. I have also heard that not all hybrids are necessarily sterile and can sometimes get mixed into the gene pool......
Rob, I'm no expert and you may be right now that I look at the pic again. What caught my eye was the number of broken stripes and the shape of the anal fin. Looking at it now, I don't see the...
Sweet little creek. Bet it is nice when it has water.
Great story Rob! Unfortunately though, you are still in search of your first striper...that is a hybrid :( Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
I would give my left "you know what" for a 53 degree morning right now! It was 83 degrees at my house this morning at 5:30!
Moss Green would be my flavor...just sayin'.
Welcome aboard! Nice to see another lowcountry boy on here.
gedens, Just show up and I will make sure that you are partnered up with someone. I am taking a few guys with me and I'm sure there will be an odd man out.
Seems like PP holds knots better to me.
Also, I spooled up one of the wife's spinning combos with 10# NanoFil several weeks back. IMO, most what everyone here has said, and the online reviews are...
Yea, I think the brother-in-law is exaggerating. I agree with E-54 though. Drill 'em out and start over, otherwise it will forever be a problem.
Sweet shoalies!
I remember that day well Derek! Man, was I one PO'd gear chunker there for the first hour or so!
Way to stick it out Daniel! Ya'll have me thinking of dusting off my sissy sticks.
Hey Dennis, how about taking that question to PMs, please.
Fish like 'em, but like you stated the durability ain't so good. I can only get two, maybe three fish per bait.
Good report! Congrats on a fine day!
