Where is Ocmulgee TIM? His trailer was pretty sweet. It had 6-8 slots for each kayak.
I've seen quite a few wedding/engagement photos over the past few years, but this one is by far the best! WTG!
I'd take the 119. It provides enough stability to stand and is a good all around platform to start with.
I wish our WalMart had that selection of Fat Alberts!
I would recommend short shank standard gap gamakatsu trebles.
WHAT A BEAUT YOU GOT THERE OlFeller! That's a wall hanger for sure!
Use Gamakatsu light wire hooks and braid to get a better chance of a good hook set.
A 10 foot Daytripper is good for kids IMO. The Mini Trooper is just too small.
It kind of looks like a glorified J11.
Perhaps that guy should take a marketing or personal sales class. IMO Jackson boats sell themselves.

I would think prices will remain stable, if not rise. Raw material prices, especially plastics, are directly related to the cost of oil.
I saw this thread recently and wanted to update it with some "real world" input regarding the Curado G series of reels.
I received one (Curado G6) as a gift from a great friend and it has been and...
The 12 footer looks as if its backwards. The rear of the boat is more narrow than the front.
I have used this paddle once and it functioned as it should. It is sturdy and lightweight, however I've yet to see a situation where the notch on the side will be beneficial for removing a lure from...
If you find one that retracts a 5lb plate weight, LET ME KNOW!
make your boat ugly enough so it is of no value to thieves. think of the term "sleeper".
A uni knot can do nearly anything. Definitely worth it to learn that one and learn it well. I however question the palomar knots impact strength!
Ok, we all know you are using CAT NIP! Where is it?
What is the manufacturer's liability when someone starts modifying ***anything***? To me it seems that kayaks are no different than a vehicle, ATV, scissors, or even a cup of coffee. People have...
Thanks for the comments. Glad you did not take my poking fun as a problem!
Being local to you, I'd like to offer a kind word of advice.
When posting topics like this, leave the takeout/put in information off the initial thread and communicate it via private message,...
It's heavy to begin with, then I usually carry way too much water and tackle. On the water, the weight is not an issue. I just have to make sure I have rreallly good friends at the takeout to...
1. I allways try to wear a life vest. The only times you may not see it on me is when doing prolonged wading or on a slow stretch where no action is required. I've found that I can't share...
I think you're kind of missing the point here. First and foremost, it was a joke. The man in the picture is a good friend of mine and it is all in good fun. I have paddled the Ultimate 12 and 14 and...
