I saw it mentioned in a post a few weeks ago and checked it out, I may be over that way Sunday afternoon, (that's a long and wordy "I hope to")
Saw where you followed Bob Clouser (or maybe it was just before Bob) doing tying demos at Troutfest a year or so ago...hangin' with the big dogs!

I'll tell ya, Bob Clouser and Lefty Kreh though both famous in the world of fly fishing, act like your neighbor . They both are laid back very nice gentlemen. I was eating lunch last year at t-fest and they came over and sat with the rest of us local smallmouth fly fishing diehards and chatted and had lunch. good people! One of my friends that guides for smallies takes Bob on a couple of trips every year and another guide buddy is lucky enough to get to take Lefty this coming Monday. A lot of people think that troutfest is only about fly fishing for trout because of the name, but it is actually named that because we are raising money to donate to the fisheries dept of the great smoky mtns nat park for the brook trout restoration work. troutfest in itself is a fly fishing exposition with lots of vendors from all the major rod companies and many of the custom builders. many guide services and outfitters along with artist and some fun things to participate in like the fly casting competition. Many fly tyers also. some with famous patterns and many others that are locally known. I usually tie smallmouth and bream flies but I am not tying this year. I just want to hang out and watch the seminars and see a few friends tie some of their favorites. Its funny that most of the seminars this year are about fly fishing for smallmouth. Both Bob clouser and Anthony Hipps are giving them.
