Talked to a good buddy of mine and made a few changes to the pattern...extra wide gap hook, slightly shorter tail....

thanx fellas! I have been on a mission to quit chewing tobacco...so every night I retreat to my fly tying desk and distract myself from the need for a dip of snuff by tying flies....its going pretty well so far! At least I'm stocking up for this year!
