New material for me so I tied it up sort ep fly style piece by piece building up the body with scan amounts of fiber....but I'm such an IDIOT! I was tying some size 2 clousers with same material and left a sz 2 hook instead of grabbing a 2/0...i was way to into the fly when I noticed...oh well....I still think it looks hot!

Good looking flies.
I bought some EP fibers over the weekend to try out. I was mainly interested in how they would work tying Clousers, but I remembered seeing a You Tube video on the Puglisi Minnow. I just winged it and came out pretty good. Kind of plain since I only have one color, green, and no eyes, but looks good in the water.

A question - how did you do the head on the second one? Clear cure goo? Looks really good.

Thanx guys! For the head on the second fly I used devcon 5 min epoxy (lowes) saturated the fibers and head with a medium coat, rotated in my vice until it just started to set up (I use a tooth pic to check my left over epoxy i mixed to tell) then wet your fingers and give it a squeeze to flatten it to get the profile as wide as you like it..you can add a second coat when dry or paint with sally hansens hard as nails to get rid of your finger prints, jeff
