Anyone Fishing These Cold Days?

Just wondering if anyone has been fishing any rivers or streams on these cold winter days. I think I might be able to make a trip the day after christmas if anyone is interested.

we went out lst friday down here in Georgia. I only caught 3 little guys. The biggest was maybe 14 inches. Ofcourse the high was 60 on the day we went.

I get out of school Friday and plan to hit the water as many days as I can until we go back to school Jan. 3.

What water are you planning on fishing? I really can't wait anymore to get out. Maybe we could work something out to go somewhere.

I've never really fished in the wintertime, so it should be interesting. Nothing like trying to catch fish to warm up the soul.

I will probably hit floyd's fork, the Elkhorn and a private lake I have access to in Shelby co.

What section of Floyd's fork do you usually fish?

Jus let me know when you are going and where and I will see if my wife is alright with me going. She has a kayak too but won't go out in this weather!

I never fished winter off my yak but been wanting to give it a shot..when you head to elkhorn let me know I would love to tag along if you don't mind.

All I need to do is find a set of waders an I will be good for my wintertime fishing. If anyone hits Floyd's fork just let me know.

I can't get away til Christmas and not sure if i can fish then. it s up to all of you to post pics and get me through til quieter times.

I will be hitting the lower section of Floyd's Fork for a float the day after Christmas. Hopefully the weather pans out!
