Hey guys, thought I would come over here and ask for some advise. My wife booked a cabin in Pigeon Forge next week. She is allowing me to fish Friday Oct 21. I have never caught a Smallie, thought this might be a good opportunity. I would love to bring my 119 up and float one of your beautiful rivers if anyone is planning a float. If not, is there a public access area I could wade? Thanks for any advise. Really hope someone wants to float. I can trade a trip and put you on some Shoalies sometime;)

The river runs through town and there is ample places to park and fish along the river. There is a park with a walking trail along the river. If I remember right I parked in the Hardies lot. There is also good fishing across the street from the Orvis shop. This is urban fishing at its best, good luck. Most of this stretch is one fish over 20 inches, check to make sure.
