couple of decievers that seem to be popular with the smallermouthed friends of the river this time of the year
yellow tied by Riggsrunsthroughit
moss green tied by myself
like the smaller size because the baitfish that I have seen are not big at all.

You need to add a colorado blade to those, and tie it on a baitcaster.....Just sayin!

Those look good! Like the big eye. Deceivers are great all purpose flies.
I have added the smallest arky jig spinner blade to some clousers after seeing the coyote fly in the Feathercraft catalog but not to a deceiver. I took the arm assembly from the arky jig completely off and just ran hook through swivel and kept blade and split ring on the other end. Have not tried them out much yet - the action is good but no fish on them to report. It doesn't make a clouser much heavier or foul too much - they're a pain to cast anyway.
I may try it on a deceiver as well now that Deadeye mentions it.

Bassbone, I found some snap-on inline spinners that I have fisehd on the front of clousers. They can definitely up your odds!

Murf, I had one of my best days on your water using a chat/yellow deciever. No white. Just a chart top wing, yellow tail, and yellow underwing.
