A buddy and I are hitting the Flatrock river Wednesday, here, north of Columbus! About a 5- 6 hour float! smallies- and other species- We both have coosa's and love them, obviously
Leave a post if you want to meet up, or fish elsewhere a different day!

Good luck. You may be dragging alot. Only 19 CFS at St. Paul. Looks like the watershed is getting a shower that may bump it a little bit.

We had a great time! Water level was good- I caught probably 7-8 fun smallies- my other 2 buddies caught more then that! Saw a couple eagles, crop duster, and ducks- we might try some duck hunting from the Coosa-
I Lost the top section of my favorite pole, due to me trying to rainbow my crawdad into a nice looking spot-:(. Got stuck and the line broke- hopefully my wife won't notice the soon to be bought replacement pole!
Great day again on the Coosa- I'm using her more then I use my 17 ft walleye boat! I hope they still get along!

4834I actually went down the Flatrock with a couple buddies a little earlier in the year. It was brutally hot, still caught a handfull of smallmouth including this beast...
