Licking river question

Going to wade the licking river tomorrow for small mouth bass. I never caught any huge ones out of there maybe over a pound or two. Has anyone caught any big ones out of there?

It might be me but I have never had much luck in the Licking, whether the main branch or the south fork of the Licking. I have pulled out a few small ones on the south fork but never big numbers or large sized fish. I've heard it can be good but for some reason I just can't make it happen on that river. What stretch are you wading?
