View Full Version : Another trip to the Verde

Went down to the Vwerde again and caught a few fish, no abnormally large fish this time but had fun catching a bunch of little ones. the texas rigged craw seemed to be the winner this time. Fished through the heat of the day and into the evening, one day I ll get up early and go. By the time the fish started to really bite I was too sun burnt and parched to continue. Great times!

I'm not to worried about listing the name of the river, as there are 125(?) fishable miles and I am the only Az listing on the site. I also do not include the name with river so the google may have a harder time getting its sticky fingers to my listings.

Nice report. I really like the scenery pics. It may just be me but I like the way that unpainted lure looks. With the simple addition of a black dot, that could be very effective on my local flows.

Pack it up, I'm sick of talking to myself on the river all day! I do not recommend Az though, I am trying to convince my wife to move back to Arkanasas. bass fishing is fairly good though and if you have money/time to drive all over the place you can find really good fishing almost all year.
