Fished one of my favorite sections of BC a couple of weeks ago. The water is really low,and this section might actually be dry now. Too bad, as this fish might be gone forever! Used a TFO Light Action spinning rod,bail-less Penn #716, and Gamma #4 test line, with a "wooley hawg-tail" on the business end.

Good fish for your first post. Had to be fun on the light tackle.

That is a nice bass for Barton Creek. Must be up creek from the pool quite a bit.
That fish looks from the size of it to be 3-5 years old (16" is about 3 yo), with the multi-years of drought we've had maybe she has a way to get from pool to pool. I hope.
Good work.

Nice fish, I drove over Barton creek about an hour ago at 360 and it looked dry as a bone.
