Put In: 2 PM
Take Out- 6:30 PM
Weather: 75 degrees, Sunny to partly cloudy back to sunny. Winds around 10 MPH
River Conditions: Falling river, very clear
Started off slow. Didn't have alot of time, so I hit a few areas near my put in. First three came on a tube, my home made shaky head and my home made football jig. Noticed a lot of followers and nippers. So I switched to moving lures. Spinnerbaits and cranks with no takers. Went to topwater and it was on. I finished with 11 smallies in 4 short hours. Eight being on topwater. I just made the skirt for that jig, for this river, last week. That was real satisfying. I hated to leave, the river was hot when I had to pack it in. Good luck everybody.
