I was on the upper Ocmulgee last Monday and had little time to fish, so I left the Coosa at home and hooked up to the power boat. I hurried up river and as I rounded the corner i was not expecting to see Tornado Damage. It quickly reminded me of the power of Mother Nature, Wow. I stoped to take advantage of the new green foliage in the water from the tops of the hardhard wood trees blown in from the storm. I fished around them for about 20 minutes and pull four good spots and two fish thats kinda got me stumped. I not sure if they are Coosa bass or Spotted bass, what do ya'll think? http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb419/riverholic/IMG00104-20110505-1106-1.jpghttp://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb419/riverholic/IMG00107-20110505-1107.jpghttp://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb419/riverholic/IMG00098-20110505-1054.jpghttp://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb419/riverholic/IMG00099-20110505-1058.jpghttp://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb419/riverholic/IMG00101-20110505-1100.jpghttp://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb419/riverholic/IMG00102-20110505-1100.jpg

Redeye bass possibly. Note the white tipped fins.

I think they're redeye's. The first one really looks like one.

look like spots
Looks like a redeye, but hard to tell because no shot of the tailfin. Those two fish have the same sore on their top fin, so I would say that is one fish(two different angles), not two fish. You must have uploaded the wrong second fish picture.

Your right about it being the same fish, I could not remember which pics were what since i was fumbling to take them with my phone at the time. Here is the pic of the other fish. The main reason I wanted another opinion was I heard from somewhere before that a spotted bass can have very vivid red eyes in the spring. Also it's been along time since I've caught a red eye, and it would be a thrill for me to know that these two fish are. Thanks everybody for helping.http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb419/riverholic/red2.jpg

Pretty sure they're redeyes but really can't say for sure without seeing the tail...

make sure to get a shot of the tail next time....they appear to have characteristics of a redeye...especially the red eyes :)
