Well no hawgs to report but Smiley and I have had some more fun wade fishing one of our local flows. It's such a pretty area and to be able to catch nice fish while enjoying this kind of scenery is just great. Smiley found a good lure that she was catching some fish on. She was throwing a shallow square billed rapala crankbait that was just bouncing of the rocks perfectly. Not long after getting in the water she hooked and unfortunately lost a monster spot over 3lbs. It was behind a rock downriver that stuck out of the water and all she could do was hold on. That fish didn't get big being stupid and it used it's downriver location to it's advantage and pulled free. She ended up catching two good spots around 2lbs. I had a few little ones on the jerkbait and the last fish is from a different day caught on a tru tungsten swimbait. Also lost a really good fish on the swimbait that just came unhooked after fighting it for a second. Here is a few pics of us playing on the "playground."

The bream hit a smithwick susending rogue. The weirdest lure I caught one on last year was a double bladed buzzbait. Even hooked it in the mouth on the main hook.

Not 100% sure about the palooza Jacky. We're going to try and at least come out and fish one day but hopefully more.

We have had quite a good time wade fishing on this river. Its cool because its not too too far from the house and we can go for ust a few hours whenever we get off work. It really is so beautiful out there. And man, there are some hawgs that live out there. :)
