Same trip that ol' Feller was talking about...
Me, AllRiversSouth, Stumphumper, Deadeye, Castapotamus, and ol' Feller floated the Santee River for 24 miles from Wilson's landing to Hwy 52 this weekend. We caught fish but we had to work for it. The fish were tough but we had a ball. We floated 3 days with 2 back to back 10 miles and then a 4 mile float on the last day. It was brutal but worth every minute.
The trip was epic not because of the number or size of fish caught but because of the caliber of the gents I had the privilage of sharing a great float/camping trip with. John, David, Dave, Danny, and Jeff are amooung the best. Jack, Rich, Chuck, and others...you were missed!
