Well I finally made it out on the river. I got my new NuCanoe slimed and enjoyed the day. The temp was in the 60s and overcast. The wind was brutal but all in all I could not have asked for too much more. All fish were caught on a YUM grub. I threw a spinner bait and crankbait some but the grub came through for me. Below are some pics.

Glad you had a good trip considering all the wind we had today. I would had to know I was on the big water today. It has been a few years since I had the jet down on the Stones, but mind saying about what stretch you fished.

I was fishing upstream of Mona Boat Ramp (East Fork I believe). The river is down because of winter pool. It was amazing the difference winter pool is and the things you can see. I tried to map a couple of areas that when the water comes up will be little pockets or cuts in the rock you can not see a summer pool.

I loved the Nucanoe ride. I don't have much to compare it to but I was very comfortable through out the day. I'm hoping to hit a couple more of the local rivers between now and the RiverBassin Tourney in Nashville.
