This is what happens when you go "Froggin" on Mink Creek, Guntersville Lake, Alabama!

Today me and my uncle got up at 4am, to go to Guntersville for a little while. We ended up with 30+ and this beast! She measured 21.50 and weighed 7lbs. And the next picture is the best possible hook set ever on a frog!

So theres proof for my "Froggin" article!

Thanks guys, This post was not long at all because I felt half dead; I do not feel any better this morning. Haha. But it was a great day, we had many bass boaters asking us what we were using and a few got brave enough to go engines up and troll into the weed bed with us.

Ohh, and when that monster hit he destroyed my Tru-Tungsten frog, he had the whole thing way deep in his mouth! But he left unharmed. After that I literally had to go get off the water, drive to a tackle shop, and buy a new frog before I could continue fishing. That is how bad he hit it. (plus it was a heavily used and abused frog haha)

Mink Creek is a nice area to fish. I bet yall had plenty of company from the bass boat crowd.

Only 5 bpats last weekend, and 7 this weekend. They stick to the edges, and only 2 came up in the creek. It is a great place with big fish.

Wow you couldn't have placed those hooks any better by hand in that bucket mouth; picture perfect hookset on a beautiful fish. I'd have to blow that pic up to add to the wall.
