Oh that was the wrong thing to say. If I pick at someone about a bird nest I get one of the biggest ones you have ever seen.

That does look like the one and only time I ever threw a bait caster. Luckily, it was my brother inlaws!

LOL! Done that a few times - especially when snagging something on my back-cast.

I don't call that a bird's nest - I call that a full-blown mohawk! (as in hair-do favored by punk rockers)

Glad you didn't let it spoil your trip!

BTW: I had no idea you could fit that many rods on a 'yak! that thing looks almost a like a porcupine. ;)

Waderjon I have pictures of paw paw going down the river backwards standing up fishing, he went about a fourth the way down standing up , he was as bad as RBF pointing out fish. YEA it was paw paw fault that made that BIRDS nest and the rod that was behind me.

I have to say that wins you the backlash of the month award , and I'm pretty sure pawpaw couldn't flip that yak over if he went the whole trip doing hand stands in it . I helped him unload that heavy thing once and the shocks on his truck let out a sigh of relief .

Here's a few self photos I took with my new camera mount! Thought you guys would like to
see your favorite "Silence Of The Lambs" character with some fish porn! I fished yesterday using
the technique described in a recent article called "How to Fish A Tube!" written here by Jeff Kelbe.
The fish were tearing em up!!! All my fish were caught on the tube except for one. I also lost quite a few around 2lbs.

You shouldnt have told anybody it was a backlash Anthony. You could have told everyone you were weaving a net together to catch fish. That things about the size of a net.
Glad you two younguns had fun playing together. I'm surprised Paw Paw dont have a special tool for quick fixing a backlash. He probably does, he just wouldnt let you borrow it so he could catch all the fish.

RBF paw paw has a tool BUT in this case a pocket knife was used. PAW PAW could overhaul a car engine, and do a knee replacement from his KAYAK. he helped me out with some of his tools more than once.
