Hey everybody. I'm cmayes from East TN. I am looking forward to getting involved in the site. I love slow fishing techniques especially tubes and jigs. I am starting to make my own lures as well. Thanks for letting me join.

Rivercrawler....I love to fish with folks that fish "full speed ahead"!!! That way, I go behind them and pick up all the HAWGS they leave behind!!

My father-in-law showed me something one time when I was working for him as a plumber's helper. I and
his son were filling up a ditch that they had replaced some cast iron sewer pipe in. My father-in-law walked up
to check up on us and said, "What have you boys been doing??? I ain't paying you to shovel for 5 minutes and
then rest for 10 minutes!!!!" He showed us how to get it done a lot quicker. He grabbed a shovel and just steadily
got a shovel full of dirt and dumped it into the ditch; one right after the other, never stopping to rest or anything.
We were trying to do it faster than he was and just flat wore ourselves out and didn't get half the work done!
Moral of the story......faster isn't always better!!
