didnt have a scale on me to weigh it..this one but he was measured at 20" iches.. i would guess maybe 3 to 4lbs? but so far my biggest shoalie so far ..i got pretty lucky catching this guy haha.. I casted out my worm and it almost got stuck in the tree and when i whipped it out from the tree. it came flying towards at me and fell right behind me.. as soon as it hit the water.. this bad boy came out and slammed it from behind me.. both of these guys was release to be caught another day.. ( the small guy in the pic is a spot)...

Rokly...You might have you a SPOALIE (spot shoal bass hybred) there buddy.
It has that same shaped head of some of the spoalies I have caught from that same flow.
Darn good one what ever it is..Congrats

That's a shoal bass and a pretty good one. I'd say it's a solid 3lber.

WJ, I think it's just the angle of the camera and how he is holding the fish to get it into frame that makes it look a little 'spoalie.'

Yea you are probably right..It does have some pretty distinct markings on it too.
I have yet to catch one on that flow that I could tell 100% it was a shoal bass.
Its a good fish though..Good job rokly.

Yeah, I'd have to call that one a shoalie too...at least mostly shoalie.

Nice one, too!. 20" oughtta put it near or over the 4lb mark.

Oh, I didn't see where it was 20". Nice! In that case I agree that it was around the 4lb mark. Sometimes it's just hard to tell from a picture.

WJ, I don't think he caught it out of the flow you are thinking of.
