Well, went wade fishing in some shoals that got some crazy attention this weekend with Smiley. She caught a shoal bass around 1lb and I caught this monster. I also had what I will say was personally the biggest shoalie I have ever seen in the river, 6-7lbs, follow my little j-7 rapala and nose it twice without taking it....was right in front of my feet. The dissapointment felt when I couldn't get that fish to bite was unbelieveable!!!!!! Literally got sick to my stomach. But that's fishing.

Hey If you will give the fish mouth to mouth and blow him back up he will be ok and then turn him loose in some bigger deeper water

That would have been a great fish tank fish. You cant always catch the monsters.

Went back tonight and caught a 7lb largemouth!!! There goes my fishing pressure theory.

Wow sounds like I need to come down there and put some pressure on it myself(just kidding). My favorite wading spot has become the swimming hole for 15-20 folks every Sunday evening so I ventured to another hole Sat evening but only caught 4. NICE LM!!! BTW just kidding about the visit, it's when you see some guy and his son coming out with a stringer of 8 smallies from your favorite hole when you start really feeling the effects of pressure. I ran into the son this evening who was just down there swimming and he said his dad had been laid off and they took 'em home and ate 'em so what do you say. I told him the guy that caught the world record LM did the same thing during the Great Depression and sometimes you gotta' do what you gotta' do.

If i knew the ppl i woud go catch them a mess of fish and take them to there house. There is a lot of ppl in this Country that dont have a job right now. And there are a lot of ppl fishing that have never fished before. We all got to eat to live so help out a neighbor you have a good time doing it and they get to have dinner.
