Discovering new water Part 3

Justaddwater and I headed out Sunday morning before daylight to explore more of this great river. When we got to the river it was stained but still good enough to fish so we dropped his car off and drove to find a Put in. I have to say the more I explore this flow the more I'm impressed with it's beauty and the fishing. We did fairly well I don't know how many Justaddwater caught, I caught at least twenty. To be honest I was way to busy looking around,taking pictures and fishing to count the fish caught.;):D The day was a mixed bag with the cold front moving in it rained hard on us several times, then in the evening the sun came out and the temp dropped . I hope you guys enjoy the pics and I saved the best for last.:D

Did you go up that creek? Thanks, actually that was one section of the river that ran around a large island in the river. Justaddwater went all the way around it , I just fished the section where the pics were taken.

That river is truly awesome. Good numbers of fish and some good size as well, beautiful scenery and very little litter which unfortunately is too common in most of our local flows.
I caught about 12 or so I think, nothing like the size of the biggun in the picture but enough to keep me hoping.

-Alan what flies were workin out there?Thanks guys , Barret it's been a strange year here so far the weather pattern hasn't settled down yet and the fishing shows it. The top water bite is still not good at all and most of mine I've caught on the long rod have been on sparkle minnows in white and copper.
