any wisconsin river bassers out there?

I was hoping to learn a little about the river fishing in my native state :confused:

Saw a nice smallmouth caught 2 weeks ago below a paper mill dam on the Wisconsin R.

I'm going near hayward in the middle of july and am looking at the flows nearby, trying to narrow it down. It has to be a place with an outfitter/ shuttle since I won't have my yaks.
I will however be sporting a 16' lund with a 25 hp while on the flowage. Is it July yet? Man the Northwoods in the summer are like heaven on earth!

2 1/2 weeks to go and I'll be on my way. Gonna take the tarpon and another yak with me. Probably going to try and do the Namakagon for some Wisconsin Riverbassin' while I'm up there. Hopefully I'll have somthing to report!
