Well, this isn't actually about riverbass is it now? But, these flies are also river ready, too. I'm heading down to St. George for the last week of March, first week of April. I know the weather will be iffy, especially with winter holding on like it has. Hopefully, if nothing else, I'll have as much fun with the Spanish Macs like I did last time. But, I really want to get a red or two and will give a good try. Ladyfish and seatrout are a blast too. Here's what I've been tying up the last couple of weeks to prepare. I'm glad to hear any suggestions. I have lots of smallmouth flies tied on ss hooks that I'll likely try as well.

Start on top and work my way down I guess. Rattling Crease, Blockhead Wiggler, Grizzly Gurgler.

Streamers. On top is a basically a Hollow-Fleye tied with a 60 deg. jig hook and a nickle plated, dumbell eye. I used Poly-bear for the body material, which is much like EP fibers with angel hair mixed in. It's tied to mimic a popular soft plastic and I think I'll call the "U-n-UR-****-Fluke-Fly" or the UUDFF for short. The bottom is a Super Clouser for Spanish Macs.

Bottom Knockers. Hairy Fodders, Razmataz. The Razmataz is pretty common on the East Coast. Hope it will work on the FC as well.

Looks like you've got it covered , nice looking flys also. Good luck, I'm jealous I've been wanting to try some saltwater for a long time, be sure to give us a report.

Those are all good flies. I've caught a lot of spots and smallies on the razzamatazz.
