Man I tell you this winter sure has been a long one, I&#39;m ready to see it go. <p>Ive recently decided that I may take up rod making as a wintertime hobby. That way I will have something to do next winter instead of layin around a whining like a big ole baby.</p>

Thats something I&#39;ve been wanting to do but with as much fly tying&nbsp;as I do I just don&#39;t have the time.

<p>Its has to be pretty sweet to tie your own fly and catch a fish with it. A couple of my fishin buddies are making their own jigs so I thought I may try the rod deal. Im going to attempt one of those cheap kits for the first one and see if I am old enough and have gained enough patience in my few years to do it. Ya never know and in my mind it seems like fun.</p>

<p>Yeah that is a blast to say the least, but it would be just as sweet to haul in a hog on a rod you built yourself. I have all the faith in the world you can do it.</p>

Mickey this is tim, sorry that you don't know how to fish. I'm new at this blogging crap but I fish elkorn creek MUCH better than you and Donny I'm the king of elkorn creek. When you two punks learn how to fish call me. LOL!
