Did a little scouting today for this upcoming spring, I am planning on getting a bunch of friends / family together for a long weekend of fishing / cooking and just having a good time. This place is the real deal, if I start to guide, I am going to offer overnight camps as a package. Surrounded by national forest, it does not get better then this! Well it could have been better if we would have had full sun and the river wasnt a little stained.

I can attest, that this is one awesome place. Cole you might think about a Oklahoma get together, at this spot. Plenty of room for everyone to camp, and miles of river to fish. Heck, maybe them Texas boys would even come up to fish.

What happened to the one photo?  Looks like you might be putting in the wrong code on it.  Try the [IMG] code and it should work.

Well, I got the photos to work. I had to make the file size smaller, they were pretty big. Drew, lets try and work out something this year as it would be a blast!

Cole, we need to see some more trip reports from you because you find some of the best looking water I've seen on here.  Can't wait to see what that river has to offer.

Here is one of the many feeder creeks that runs into it, this one is liked by WW kayakers when it is running high as the gradient drops very quickly.

Yeah that is beautiful. We should do a rodeo there in the early summer and have the guys from TX come up too.

 If thats the river i think it is you wouldn't want to be near it if we have a summer like the last few have been a light rain makes some serious class III-IV rapids. On the other hand if its been dry for a while you will do loads of dragging and carrying. Its all worth the effort when you hook up with one of them wild Smallies though.<img title="Wink" src="/site/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif" alt="Wink" />
